Bed Bug Detector Uses CO2 to Find Hidden Bedbugs (PRWEB)
Stern Environmental Group recently completed its field testing of the Termite and Bed Bug Detector and has reported the device to be very effective in locating concealed bedbugs.
The new bed bug discovery tool system has a number of CO2 sensors that looks for an increased level of CO2 which bed bugs exude as they digest their blood meal. The 12 inch sensor probe extension piece is reportedly strong enough to find bed bugs hiding in cracks and crevices, behind headboards, nightstand drawers, inside electrical outlets, box springs, bedside clocks, or even in rolled edges of mattress pillow tops. When a bed bug is detected, a series of alarms will go off. The number of beeps the unit will sound indicates the number of bed bugs in that area due to the amount of CO2 that was collected. To insure an accurate reading, the unit automatically recalibrates itself when moving to a new location.
According to Douglas Stern, Managing Partner of Stern Environment, “The technology used in this product is revolutionary and will change forever how hotels and businesses monitor for and detect bed bugs.”
Stern Environmental Group, LLC is a known bug exterminator and pest control management company. For over 10 years, the company has been the chosen leader in testing new bed bug products in New Jersey and New York City.
The unit sells for under $1,358 from the Stern website.
